Hello Cross Country Family,
Great first full-week of practices and classes! Remember to continue to keep hydrated. This week we will continue working hard. A couple of upcoming events to keep in mind:
- Thursday, August 31st: We will have practice at Kit Carson Park. 4:30PM start. Please be ON TIME. Showing up late will result in a tardy on your attendance for that day.
- Saturday, September 2nd: Lake Hodges Saturday Run will take place. If you simply google it "Lake Hodges Run" you will be able to locate our meeting spot. 7AM start.
- Friday, September 15th: Team Dinner at 5PM. Big thank you to the Favela Family for hosting! Address and details to come.Saturday,
- September 16th: Our first invitational: Mt. Carmel/ASICS XC Invitational, will take place at Morley Field. Details to follow.

REMINDERS: ATTENDANCE POLICY & DRESS CODE
Please continue to plan accordingly regarding practices (and meets) in regards to the Attendance Policy. Keep the following in mind:
- 3 tardies will equal one absence
- 3 absences will result in an email from your coaches and can result in removal from the team
- please email both of your coaches for any absences/tardies
- if you are suspicious of any injuries, please reach out to your coaches. we will give you a plan of action. simply "not attending because of..." will not excuse you.
Please continue to plan accordingly regarding practices (and meets) in regards to the Dress Code. Keep the following in mind:
- all athletes should be ready to go for practice at 4:20PM sharp.
- no jeans, sandals will be allowed and will result in no practice for that day (which can affect your attendance).
