Hello Football Families,
I hope you all had a great first week of school. Remember we represent our football team on the field, in the community and in the classroom!

This week we will be learning about Coach Wooden's Pyramid Block of Success (Team Spirit): "For me, it meant I was constantly searching for that player who would make our team 'great' rather than a someone who was just a 'great player'. There is a big difference and that difference is what constitutes Team Spirit."

With "Team Spirit" in mind I would like to take a moment to thank everyone you serves our athletes and program with a spirit of love. From everyone who works in the snack bar, chain crew, film team, press box, and behind the scenes.

A special thank you to Becky Campbell who leads and organizes our snack bar. She spends hours shopping and stocking our snack bar so that we could raise funds for our football program.

Thank you to Coach Shane Goodwin and the ECHS athletic department for all your work and preparation. There are so many things that happen behind the scene for us to host a home game. These are amazing nights for our community.

Thank you to Zack Stark and our chain crew... you all are amazing!

Thank you to our team mom Amy Taylor and last weeks host family the Lewis's for planning and hosting our team dinner! It was so fun to be together as a team outside of the football field.

Finally, thank you to Ben Elliot, Nathan Defresne, Jairus Mendoza, and Rachel Goodwin who record our games from the press box and end zone. Your work is such a critical part of our teaching and learning. It's worth 7-14 points a game!
